Public Hearing/Special Meeting
July 19, 2005
PUBLIC HEARING 6:30 PM
1. Community Development Block Grant Program
The Village of Capitan Board of Trustees held a special meeting on July
19, 2005 at the Village Hall Meeting Room. Trustee Tippin called the
meeting to order at 7:08 pm following the public hearing. Trustees
present were Bill Martin and Ed Davis. Mayor Steve Sederwall and Mayor
Pro Tern Bobbi Shearer were absent.
Community Development Black Grant Program Motion by Trustee Martin
second by Trustee Davis to put together a resolution for the August 9
meeting, make application for a CDBG grant for a Water Loop on the East
side and a Water Well on the West side. All in favor, motion carried.
Budget Shirley Paviovic presented the final paperwork for the 2005-2006
Budget.
Executive Session Motion by Trustee Martin second by Trustee Davis to
go into executive session at 7:15 pm pursuant to Section 10-15-1(H)2
Personnel Matters Police Department and Village Clerk and Deputy Clerk.
Roll Call: Trustee Tippin yes, Trustee Martin yes, Trustee Davis yes.
Regular Session The council went to regular session at 8:20 pm. Trustee
Davis attest that we discussed Section l0-15-1(H)2 Personnel Matters
Police Department and Village Clerk and Deputy Clerk.
Section 10-15-l(H)2 Personnel Matters Police Department and Village
Clerk and Deputy Clerk Motion by Trustee Martin second by Trustee Davis
to direct the Village Attorney Marc Prelo to send specific
correspondence District Attorney. All in favor, motion carried.
Motion by Trustee Davis second by Trustee Martin to adjourn the meeting
at 8:21 pm.
