WHEREAS, The Village of Capitan needs a shop for Water and Street Department employees to work in and store the Village’s equipment; and

WHEREAS, Resolution 2012-02 was approved to purchase the building and property subject to the approval of the New Mexico State Board of Finance; and

WHEREAS, the NM State Board of Finance does not approve the purchase of real property for a municipality.  This resolution needs to be rescinded.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE VILLAGE OF CAPITAN, NM does hereby approve rescinding Resolution 2012-02.
