WHEREAS, the Village of Capitan has roads called Valley View Drive and Valley View Road; and

WHEREAS, these names are causing confusion for emergency personnel, the Village of Capitan agrees to make two roads out of Valley View Drive; and

WHEREAS, the Village of Capitan desires to dedicate the connecting road between Valley View Road and West Grandview Road as a village road and name it Horsemint Trail. The remainder of Valley View Drive will be called Vista Lane; and

WHEREAS, the Governing Body in and for the Village of Capitan, State of New Mexico, does desire to adopt the change in the name of Valley View Drive to Horsemint Trail and Vista Lane.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE VILLAGE OF CAPITAN, NM does accept and adopt the changes in the name of Valley View Drive to Horsemint Trail and Vista Lane.
