WHEREAS, the New Mexico Department of Transportation was awarded funds in the amount of $43,537.15 match funds to the Village of Capitan for the Full Construction, Blading and Shaping, Pavement Rehabilitation, Drainage Improvements, Misc of various streets and roads within the village limits; and

WHEREAS, the original funding of this project was reduced due to the overall revenue shortfall of the Local Government Road Fund; and

WHEREAS, it is agreed by the NM Department of Transportation and the Village of Capitan that Agreement D12969 be amended to reflect the shortfall; and

WHEREAS, the total estimated cost of the project will be $45,525.33 making the awarded funds reduced to $34,144.00, and the Village’s required match will be approximately $11,381.33.

NOW THERFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY that the aforementioned is hereby approved and is made a part of this resolution.
