RESOLUTION 2009-41
HOLIDAY CALENDER

WHEREAS, the Governing Body for the Village of Capitan, State of New Mexico, meeting in a regular session on the 8th day of December 2009, has approved and adopted the Official Holiday Calendar for the Village of Capitan.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Capitan Board of Trustees hereby adopts the following as the Official Holiday Calendar for the Village of Capitan.

One Floating Holiday for each full time employee upon approval by Mayor or Village Clerk within the 2010 calendar year.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday    will be observed on Monday, January 18, 2010
   
Presidents’ Day            will be observed on Monday, February 15, 2010

Memorial Day                will be observed on Monday, May 31, 2010

Independence Day             will be observed on Monday, July 5, 2010

Labor Day                will be observed on Monday, September 6, 2010

Columbus Day            will be observed on Monday, October 11, 2010

Veteran’s Day                will be observed on Thursday, November 11,2010

Thanksgiving Day            will be observed on Wednesday, November 24 and
                         Thursday, November 25, 2010

Christmas Day                will be observed on Wednesday, December 22,2010
                     and Thursday, December 23, 2010

New Year’s Day            will be observed on Thursday, December 30, 2010

RESOLVED BY BOARD ACTION this 8th day of December 2009.
