NM DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION CAPITAL COOP GRANT PROJECT
 

WHEREAS, the Village of Capitan is in support of the Capital COOP Grant Project; and

WHEREAS, the Village of Capitan received a Capital COOP Grant in the amount of $50,000, Control Number C7G792, Project Number SP-GA-7527(208); and

WHEREAS, the purpose of the project is to plan, design and construct improvements, including chip sealing, to streets in Capitan; and

WHEREAS, the Village of Capitan, Lincoln County, New Mexico will assume the responsibilities of ownership, the liability and the maintenance of the road(s) that are chipped sealed with the funding; and
 
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE VILLAGE OF CAPITAN, accepts full responsibility for the completion and maintenance of the Project.

DONE, PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Governing Body of the Village of Capitan, Lincoln County, New Mexico on this 15th day of September, 2009.
