VILLAGE OF CAPITAN
RESOLUTION 2008-32
APPLICATION TO NEW MEXICO FINANCE AUTHORITY
FOR A NEW POLICE VEHICLE
WHEREAS, the Village of Capitan Police Department would like to submit
an application to the New Mexico Finance Authority to buy a new police
vehicle at a cost of $21,587.00 and;
WHEREAS, the loan, if approved, would be intercepted through the Law
Enforcement Protection Fund monies each year thereafter until the
balance is paid in full and;
WHEREAS, the Governing Body in and for the Village of Capitan, State of
New Mexico meeting in regular session on the 12th day of August 2008
approved the submission of an application to the New Mexico Finance
Authority and;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Governing Body of the Village of
Capitan authorizes the submittal of an application to the New Mexico
Finance Authority for approval of a loan for a new police vehicle where
the funds will be intercepted through the Law Enforcement Protection
Fund.
DONE, PASSED, AND APPROVED by the Governing Body of the Village of
Capitan, Lincoln County, New Mexico on this 9th day of September 2008.
