RESOLUTION 2006-25
APPLICATION TO NEW MEXICO FINANCE AUTHORITY
FOR A NEW FIRE TRUCK
WHEREAS, the Village of Capitan Fire Department would like to submit an
application to the New Mexico Finance Authority to buy a new fire truck
at a cost of $218,854.00 and;
WHEREAS, upon approval to put a down payment of $44,000.00 from the
2006-2007 Fire Department Fund budget. The loan, if approved,
would be intercept through the Fire Protection Fund Monies each year
thereafter until the balance was paid in full and;
WHEREAS, the Governing Body in and for the Village of Capitan, State of
New Mexico meeting in regular session on the 11th day of July 2006
approved the submission of an application to the New Mexico Finance
Authority and;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Governing Body of the Village of
Capitan authorizes the submittal of an application to the New Mexico
Finance Authority for approval of a loan for a new fire truck where the
funds will be intercepted through the Fire Protection Fund.
DONE, PASSED, AND APPROVED by the Governing Body of the Village of
Capitan, Lincoln County, New Mexico on this 11th day of July 2006.
