WHEREAS, the Village of Capitan Municipal Court staff has discovered the need for a Escrow Account; and
WHEREAS, such an account was opened on October 13, 2005, with the initial deposit being one hundred dollars ($100.00) that was received as a court bond; and
WHEREAS, there will be a charge for checks that were ordered on the account; and
WHEREAS, the Governing Body in and for the Municipality of Capitan, State of New Mexico, meeting in a regular session on the 8thth day of November 2005 does support the creation of the Village of Capitan Municipal Court Escrow Account in order to track court bonds; and
WHEREAS, a deposit will be necessary to cover the cost of the checks that were ordered on the account; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Governing Body of the Village of Capitan, respectfully requests approval from the DFA to transfer fifty dollars ($50.00) from the General Fund, line item 6044 Operating - Judicial, with budgeted expenditures in the 2005 — 2006 budget year of two thousand dollars ($2,000.00), and with two hundred seventy six dollars ($276.00) expended at the time of this resolution to the Village of Capitan Municipal Court Escrow account; and
DONE, PASSED, AND APPROVED by the Governing Body of the Village of Capitan, Lincoln County, New Mexico on this 8 day of November 2005.
