State Highway Department MAP Application
Agreement to accept funding
Whereas the Village of Capitan has received a MAP Grant in the amount
of $233,750.00 in MAP funding, with a Village match of $77,917.00, for
a total of $311,667.00, project No. MAP-7627(900) and Control Number
7802.
Whereas the Village of Capitan, Lincoln County, New Mexico will accept
this MAP funding to chip seal Long Road from US Highway 380 through 5th
Street (US Highway 48) and Mt. Capitan Road from NM US Highway 48 to NM
US Highway 48 as approved by the State Highway Commission and included
in the Department's FY03-04 Statewide Transportation Improvement
Program.
Whereas the Mayor of the Village of Capitan is authorized to accept
said funding and has signed all necessary documents and contracts.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of November, 2003
