VILLAGE OF CAPITAN, NEW MEXICO
ORDINANCE 2006-______
AN ORDINANCE CONSENTING TO LANDOWNERS PETITIONS FOR ANNEXATION INTO THE
VILLAGE OF CAPITAN, NEW MEXICO, CERTAIN CONTIGUOUS LANDS AS SHOWN BY
MAPS THEREOF, ATTACHED TO THIS ORDINANCE AND REFERRED TO AS EXHIBIT
“A”, SAID PROPERTY BEING ANNEXED HEREINAFTER MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, on the 12th day of December, 2006, petitions were presented to
the Village of Capitan, New Mexico by the following owners:
1. Cheryl M. Hall, owner of: Property #4 076
050 152 322 Section-09 Township-09S Range-14E Tract 1:
Being a tract of land in S2 cont’g 5.733 acres, more or less as per
replat filed in Cab. H Slide 447
2. Christ Community Fellowship Church, owner
of: Tract A, Block 3 Mohaco Subdivision Unit I as shown in
tube #269
3. David N. and Sherry Rouleau owners
of: Section 09 Township-09S Range-14E A tract
of land in the S2 of Section cont’g 4.041 acres, more or less as
described in deed BK 93 Pages 213-214
4. Village of Capitan – Capitan Cemetery
owners of: Capitan Cemetery Tract as shown in tube #257.
for annexation of said property into the Village of Capitan; and
WHEREAS, it appearing that said tracts are contiguous to the present
Village limits; and
WHEREAS, said Petition appears regular in every respect, and said
annexation appearing to be in the best interests of the Village of
Capitan, New Mexico,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the Village of Capitan, New
Mexico that said Governing Body consents to said annexation.
APPROVED AND PASSED this 12th day of December 2006.
